The Serein Lark Review is a digital sanctuary for literary wanderers, weaving nostalgia through whimsical storytelling and magical imagery that captures the beauty of small, fleeting moments.
We wish upon the stars to provide an inclusive literary space for souls that are old but feel young or are young but feel old, to curate a collection of tales that feel like pressed flowers—preserved, delicate, and deeply evocative. Here, magic is found in the stillness of a misty dawn while fresh linen hangs to dry in the garden, inviting you to wander through a landscape of paper hearts and wildflower dreams.
After all, the word Serein is defined as the meteorological phenomenon when light rain falls from a clear sky just after sunset. Such simplicity is the heart of The Serein Lark Review.
o u r v a l u e s
There is a lot of bad news in our newspapers these days. There is hatred, war and violence. Powerful figures abuse their positions daily, and society turns more corrupt every hour.
The Serein Lark Review wishes to be clear on the opinion that all humans have equal rights to a life without fear of violence. We are against discrimination and inequality, including on the basis of race, sex, identity, gender, sexuality, religion and/or disabilities. We are against war. We are against animal abuse and policies that promote global warming.
What are we for? Love. Friendship. Family. Diversity. The arts. Nature.
We believe in a happy ending.
