Originally from the Chicago suburbs, I have resided in Los Angeles for the past six years, where I have directed 50+ silent short films shot on iPhone, facilitated creative writing workshops at rehabs and shelters, and written personalized poems for strangers every Sunday outside a bookstore.

It was on a rainy evening, just past a glowing sunset, that this peculiar magazine-lark was born. Today, the Serein Lark launches from its secret meadow nest, after months of growing big, officially free to spread its wings across the quiet, blue sky for good.
